Greta Bro, is a spiritual healer and teacher, Empath, Shaman, singer, sound healer, dancer and portal for streams of multi-dimensional healing energies and guidance emanating from the Divine Mother and a host of universal masters. She calls her healing work The River because these living currents of compassionate consciousness create release of toxic emotion and false perception and reestablish flow, activating transformation on every level of being. Interfacing with the higher frequencies of these Teachers creates deep psycho-spiritual, emotional, physiological and archetypal shifts. Using sound, toning, nurturing touch, somatic empathy and clairaudience she simultaneously blends with universal masters and the people she works with. Participants of her groups are able to move beyond the confines of the ego and spontaneously connect with buried and disowned aspects of themselves suspended in time by trauma, neglect and loss. They are able to release emotional blockage such as terror, pain and despair and retrieve abandoned aspects of Being essential to embodying their Sovereign Self and fulfill their unique Soul Work. Healing inner apartheid is what ends outer apartheid. It is in this way that people become powerful agents of compassionate culture and unfold for humanity and the living Earth a world founded in love, tolerance and cooperation.

Greta awakened to this work in the early eighties (during a spiritual emergency where) when she found herself hospitalized for months with a life threatening form of colitis. Every night, while in her hospital bed, she was visited by spirit teachers who bathed her in streams of universal energy and sound. Through aligning with these teachers and opening to streams of multi-dimensional energy she was not only able to face the source of her dis-ease and heal the colitis completely but she awakened to her gifts as a shaman and sound healer. Greta makes healing available to others by being a portal or channel for the same universal masters and streams of multi-dimensional energies from which she received healing.
She also brings to her work twenty years as a psycho-spiritual therapist and depth psychologist, her extensive experience as a workshop leader at centers and colleges including Interface Foundation and Lesley College, her background as a performer both as a singer/songwriter/band leader and as an actor/director in numerous transformational theater pieces. She has also been a pioneer in women’s spirituality and gender issues since the early 70’s. She has led countless rituals and founded a procession to the Divine Mother in Gloucester, MA in 2002. She seeded a woman’s study Department at Marlboro College in the early seventies and has led workshops and retreats on the emergence of the Sacred Feminine since 1977. In the 90’s she had a radio program at WALE out of Providence called “Searching For The Goddess” where she interviewed pioneers of women’s spirituality here and in Europe. She is currently writing a book on her work and has a CD of original songs called Feel Your Love available through CD Baby.
