Dorothy Martin-Neville MA, LMFT, LPC, EMP

Dorothy Martin-Neville has had a private practice in psychotherapy for over twenty years. During that time she increased her knowledge and enhanced her practice of treating the whole person by becoming certified in Advanced Acupressure, Reflexology and Iridology, Hypnotherapy, Jin Shin Do, Energy Medicine, Reiki II, and Consegrity Therapy. In 1992 she founded a private occupational school, The Institute of Healing Arts and Sciences, LLC, which offers two and four year Energy Medicine Program s approved by the Connecticut Commissioner of Higher Education. In addition she offers, one evening, one day, weekend, and longer seminars in the United States and on Anguilla to support personal healing and professional development.

Ms. Martin-Neville created her own method of treatment, The W.I.S.E. Method™ (Wholistic, Integrative, Spiritual, Energy) and was awarded a grant from the NIH to research this treatment modality in working with Fibromyalgia patients. She has also been the Co-Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Frontier Medicine Grant at the University of Connecticut Medical School, which received a two million dollar grant from the NIH to research energy medicine. Her doctoral dissertation, The Psycho/Spiritual Correlates of Physical Disorders: A New Approach to Mind/Body Research, entailed both qualitative and quantitative research, the results of which will be included in this seminar.
