Great River Feng Shui
From: www.greatriverfengshui.com
I grew up in the woods, marshes, waterways and mountains of New England; I was a magnet to its energy. Feeling highly attuned and connected to nature, I looked for the root of things, the details and nuances, the microcosm, the subtle movements and change, the behavior of nature’s energy through sharpened senses; its flora and fauna, behavior of animals, water currents and tides, sun and moon as guide. This was my first Feng Shui teaching. I built my life around traveling starting in the late 70’s. I spent years at sea, lived in several countries, traveled to many others, including 5 years in the Far East where my interest blossomed in the quiet nature of eastern philosophy and culture. I had close eastern friends, answering incessant questions, with my observing behavior, ceremony, ritual, and my extensive reading of eastern philosophy. After the Far East, I studied in California for many years with several very good teachers, both eastern and western; the main focus was Feng Shui, Qi Gong (energy cultivation) and Energy Healing. My eventual Qi Gong mastery sensitized me to subtle energy, thinking in images, seeing meaning in nature, my sensory impression beyond perceptions’ veil are my proficiency and qualification; my certifications now seem secondary to the internal experience and knowing. I’m told “If you don’t use this gift than you should release it to the universe for someone else to use. Feng Shui cannot be taught or learned by anyone who does not already possess this energy of the universe.” Cultural and ego bias has fragmented Feng Shui into weakened specializations and business oriented stamps of qualification. Who and what we resonate with should be the discerning answer to our truth in choosing a path or teacher. Achievement of joy and harmony between internal and external reality is the universal goal. Mastery never sleeps.
