Jeffrey F. Comeau
Objective
Jeff Comeau is an artist residing in Newburyport, Massachusetts. The open sky, sea air, and sound of the surf have provided artistic impetus for many of the pieces he has created since moving there from Marblehead in 2000.
His work is inspired by his interest in spirituality, Native American culture, nighttime photography, Americana, surrealism, subconscious imagery, and symbolism.
Jeff has been creating art for thirty-five years; freelancing for the past twenty. His education includes instruction in oil painting, an excellent high school art program under the direction of Susan Paradis, a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Portland School of Art (now Maine College of Art) and continues by serving in the capacity of Senior Graphic Designer for the New England Journal of Medicine for the past eleven years.
Jeff currently works in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, DVD Studio Pro, Quark, Final Cut Pro, Powerpoint, Word, Acrobat, iMovie, Quicktime, Real Producer, as well as freehand illustration."
